About

Emma Heikensten is a sustainability research analyst at Voya Investment Management, responsible for providing internal and external research, focusing on broad investment themes and sustainability. Prior to joining Voya, Emma served as a senior sustainability specialist at SEB Asset Management, leading integration and regulatory implementation, developing thematic funds and mandates and serving as a spokesperson. Prior to that, she worked as a quantitative analyst and project manager. Emma earned an MSc in Environmental Economics and Climate Change at the London School of Economics. She holds a PhD from Stockholm School of Economics and has conducted research at Harvard and New York University. Emma is also an advisor to Doconomy AB and a founding member and research lead of a Swedish NGO focused on financial equality.
