About

Lawrence Halliday is senior vice president, portfolio manager at Voya Investment Management. He joined the firm following Voya’s integration of certain assets and teams comprising the substantial majority of Allianz Global Investors U.S. (“AllianzGI”) business, where he was head of private placements U.S., responsible for investments in U.S. private placement debt and oversaw the team’s efforts in asset origination and portfolio management. He also focused on individual transactions, primarily in the power, energy, and infrastructure sectors. Prior to that, he worked in public debt markets at Atlantic Asset Management and Tiber Asset Management, where he managed structured portfolios. He began his investment career at MetLife, investing in private placement and project finance debt. Previously, he worked in consulting in Gdansk, Poland and started his career at Price Waterhouse. Lawrence earned a BA from Fordham University and an MBA from the University of Rochester's Simon School of Business. He is a CFA® Charterholder.
