James Lydotes is chief investment officer, equities at Voya Investment Management. Prior to joining Voya, he held several senior positions at Newton Investment Management Group, including deputy chief investment officer, equities, head of equity income, and portfolio manager. Earlier in his career, James was a senior portfolio manager at Mellon and held various investment roles at both The Boston Company Asset Management and Wellington Management. He earned a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Syracuse University, is a CFA® Charterholder, and is a member of the CFA Institute, CFA Society Boston, and the Boston Committee on Foreign Relations.
