Avi Tolani is a senior vice president and head of the private credit high yield within the private credit team at Voya Investment Management, responsible for sourcing, analyzing, structuring, and executing senior and junior capital solutions with a focus on high yield credits. Prior to joining Voya, Avi focused on the distressed and special situations assets, most recently as a director with Sandler O’Neill & Partners and as a vice president at Gleacher & Company, where he advised companies and creditors in executing a variety of strategic alternatives. Prior to that, Avi was a member of PricewaterhouseCoopers’ corporate finance practice, where he executed cross-border restructuring and M&A transactions across a broad array of industries. Avi earned a BS in finance and a BA in economics from Rutgers University and was a recipient of the Outstanding Scholars Award. He is a CFA® Charterholder.
