Sebastian Thomas is a lead portfolio manager for the global AI strategies on the fundamental thematic team at Voya Investment Management. He joined the firm following Voya’s integration of certain assets and teams comprising the substantial majority of Allianz Global Investors U.S. (“AllianzGI”) business, where he was a senior portfolio manager, senior research analyst and director. He also led the U.S. technology /telecom research effort, responsible for covering large and mid-cap software and internet technology companies and served as a lead portfolio manager. Prior to that, Sebastian worked at Roger Engemann & Associates (a Phoenix Investment Partners company), Fidelity Management and Research, Morgan Stanley and the Federal Reserve Board of Governors and also has experience designing, developing and managing software applications. Sebastian earned a BA in economics from Pomona College and an MBA in finance and strategy from the University of Chicago. He is a CFA® Charterholder.
